West's Voice and Persona Has Inspired Some Really Interesting Things

5 Years Ago Today He Returned to the Batcave

Friday 9th of June 2017
Actor Adam West known for his role as Batman dies of leukemia at the age of 89 in Los Angeles, California, United States.
West began directing movies with DC Comics's The Flash as soon a few years after going out on a limb (and appearing on the TV show Supergirl as far back as '92 when it aired as "Barry's Boyfriend"). West's voice and persona has inspired some really interesting things. One example is the song "Batman And Joker Forever" which features him singing over the melody of Dr. Wile E. Coyote.
In 1997, West released a single titled "Parks & Recreation" which he co-wrote with Alan Moore. A sequel to this film has not been made (but it's considered true and has been popular within the community). West's voice has still been a fan favorite on some occasions and was popular outside of the Batman universe (his voice was almost always at times heard on shows and movies such as Batman Forever: The Animated Series) and also made it into The X-Files on a limited television series.
The Flash comics are currently in their 21st and final season.
In 1998, he released a solo comic titled "All the Bravest People Who Will Survive This One." It appeared on the first season of The Flash #3 on July 1st 1999.
