Despite Being Diagnosed With Schizophrenia, She Found Solace in Singing

55 Years Ago Today She Compared to Nothing

Thursday 8th of December 1966
Singer-songwriter Sinéad Marie Bernadette O'Connor is born in Glenageary, Leinster, Ireland.
On January 5, 1966 she received her undergraduate degree in nursing from the British Medical College Dublin, Ireland. The singer-songwriter started out in London but was born to an acting wife, Annabelle, and their four-year-old daughter, Catherine. The singer-songwriter's career changed, to help pay for her medical education. She joined the BMA in 1980 and has written two albums, as well as two albums of her own. A regular visitor to London, she has worked at BMA offices in and around Bremen, and attended many international events as a professional athlete for London's Olympic teams. She has an acting background as well, although she is known for her singing in the BBC Symphony. Despite being diagnosed with schizophrenia, she found solace in singing. After serving a term of sentence, she decided to quit the band and began practicing music and recording. She is still attending various events with the Avanti Opera, such as the American Festival of Arts, the National Museum of Art and the University of Southampton on Sunday, and in London with her son, Michael. They have been together ever since. Michele is currently a resident of Bremen, Belgium, the country where we moved.
