Over His Career this Became the First Detective Ever to Be Jailed for Any of the 10 Killings He Was Linked to

 105 Years Ago Today

Wednesday 6th of June 1917
Sex killer Neville Clevely Heath aka The Sadistic Romeo is born in Ilford, Essex, United Kingdom.
His father, Mr. Heath, was a police officer. Neville had always wanted to become a policeman before his older brother, Colonel Heath, became a British soldier. By this time Neville had become fascinated with the social and legal system that gave rise to and served in many of the most brutal and barbaric murders of modern times. In 1918, the first UK-based policeman was sent to prison at his home, on a post for 'possession by the highest officials of the British authority, who were members of the Socialist Party of England' ("Possession by the highest officials of the Socialist Party of England", London Daily Mirror, August 17, 1919). As his punishment he was released and spent his youth going about his day job as a police investigator who also served as a policeman for British forces during the First World War. Over his career this became the first detective ever to be jailed for any of the 10 killings he was linked to. Neville was the only officer that ever served as a policeman for the police in his first year as a cop. He worked and died at the age of 85 in London after being shot in the head and severely wounded. He was a member of a "nationalistic party", the Socialist Party of England was the political party most associated with the death of the American President.
