According to His Memoirs He Died in the Following Year Aged 85

 96 Years Ago Today

Saturday 19th of June 1926
Anarchist publisher and millionaire Giangiacomo Feltrinelli is born in Milano, Lombardia, Italy.
Feltrinelli was the founder of the Italian publishing studio Energia in 1923, which was renamed Piedmont. According to his memoirs, he died in the following year, aged 85. Since he died early this morning on Sunday 19th June 1926, he was translated from Latin Italian into English and has been published in two volumes since the publication date of his biography (1975). In his autobiography, he writes about the many miracles he experienced in his twenty five years working for Energia. Feltrinelli was described as a revolutionary by his contemporaries and the Italian political establishment and even considered the founder of the magazine Energia. His own son Giuseppe and daughter Andrea (Maggi) founded the Society of Socialist Writers in 1930, which was incorporated into the Italian Communist Party later that year (1998). Giuseppe Feltrinelli (born October 19, 1932) is the father of the Italian anarchist Leo Feltrinelli (born April 9, 1942). Feltrinelli himself lived in Berlin as a student until his death in 1985 in Milan, after a successful political career at the age of nineteen. He came to Italy in 1939 with the Italian Communist party and went on to become the president of the Italian Communist Party of Italy.
