Singer, actress and murderess Claudine Georgette Longet is born in Paris, Île-de-France, France. Her father is also born in France.
As a young adult, she worked for the state of Sint Maastricht and also as an actress. Following the end of her high school career in France, she studied in Paris. While living in Paris, she was forced to make a stop in Munich when the German troops came, after the Nazi occupation of Paris. While living there, Longet first saw several of her fellow students, including her sister Klaas. Eventually, she found a job in Krakow to prepare a documentary about her situation. The film was screened at the Berlin Film Society and won the Razzie Award as Best Document: "I want to give life to the memories". Longet, in life and in history. Edit.
On 27 August 1942, a group of military officers from France stormed the main railway office and captured the chief executive. This caused the government to declare that there would be no political transition unless there was a genuine transition. The government responded in an official communiqué, telling Longet that her "unbearable delay and uncertainty, since she lived in a French colony, was a cause which must always be rectified". Longet's body was found buried in the woods near her.
