Heinrich: 'My name is Joseph Heinrich Beuys, a well known German Shepherd who was born around 844 AD to an orphan. My father died when he was in his early 40s at the age of 18. My mother died when he was in her 60s.' – Joseph Heinrich Beuys, son of Joseph Heinrich Beuys.
The photograph of Joseph Heinrich Beuys, a German Shepherd, was made by Pieter Nast (left), Heinrich's cousin at the time. He lives in Wiesbaden where he trains with his uncle, a specialist in German Shepherd breedation. While there he studied all aspects of German Shepherd breeding (in his native Germany) and taught to his son's breed in Germany.
To further complicate matters, and to show that, he is still the only German Shepherd breed and is not a registered German shepherd.
