I Would Ask If Someone Might Be Able to Confirm His Birth Date

227th Pope Sixtus V aka Xystus V is born as Felice Peretti di Montalto in Grottammare, Marche, Italy.

The date of Birth is 11th of December 1519 of the same year. It was named after his grandfather, who was bishop.

(I would ask if someone might be able to confirm his Birth date, and if he does, why are the dates of Birth listed on the Catholic Encyclopedia as December 15th, 1520, 1525, and 1793?)

(I believe it is possible that his Mother made him take the name from a letter of reference. If this were true, it would certainly help to establish his age and age-group, and it would even establish a couple of dates.)

(I can't remember all the ways he was baptized.)

(It seems strange to me that some of these dates are not listed somewhere in the pages on the internet or in books, so this seems unlikely.)

(But, it is possible that he was baptized in August of course. Perhaps that dates from around 1580 (?)?)?)

(Perhaps this year he has taken his name when his father died. Maybe that some date from 1550 is 1250?)

(Maybe that it's all part of the same legend or something? Perhaps it could be that.)
