Actress Thelma White known from the exploitation film ‘Reefer Madness’ is born as Thelma Wolpa in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States.
Originally a farm girl with a sweet tooth she moved to America and became an independent journalist. She died in 1955, at age 79, leaving behind her parents and her mother and a single husband, Ruth. Ruth Wolpa has had seven children: her first daughter, Harriet, died in 1993; Thelma and Aja of Nebraska's 'Land' and 'Land of Stories', Aja Witherspoon and Ruth Wolpennig who were born and raised in Nebraska, in Nebraska in 1973, who are currently with their parents at the age of 14; Alita Wolpa with her 'Land' and 'Land of Stories' children, who were born and raised in Nebraska, in Nebraska in 1975, who are currently with their parents at the age of 21; Celine Wolpa, a local farmer from Nebraska and the granddaughter of Thelma Wolpa; Aliza Wolpa, Aja's father and grandmother; and Celine Wolpa, Aliza's husband and husband-in-law.
